“My name is Rachel Susan Garza and I am a proud young Mexican woman with big dreams and I am determined to make a difference in this world and in the lives of others. To me, being recognized and supported by the Coalition Latinos Unidos gives me strength and fuels the fire in my heart to pursue secondary education. I am extremely grateful for the Coalición in helping me gain financial security while I continue to follow my dreams. I cannot wait to further represent the Latino community this year at Illinois State University and for years to come.”
